Abstract
The process comprises interaction of the non-participating electrons of the nitrogen atom of DEAE and the nuclei of 9mTc. The reaction vessel has an air bubbler. An active soln. of sodium pertechnetate - 99mTc (Na99mTcO4) gives DEAE marking. The active soln. is circulated in three ion exchange columns, to give DEAE 99mTc in pure form, with elution using 0.9% NaCl.
