Abstract

Inventia se refera la o instalatie pentru granularea aliajelor modificatoare din stare topita. Instalatia cuprinde, în imediata apropiere a antecreuzetului de alimentare, doi cilindri cu suprafetele lateale profilate, care se rotesc în sensuri contrare si sunt racite din interior cu apa astfel încât aliajul sa se solidifice sub forma de banda, aceasta fiind fragmentata mai departe, datorita unei alte perechi de cilindri cu suprafetele profilate, asigurând prin forma lor stabilirea lungimii granulelor.The invention relates to a device for granulating molten alloy modifiers. The installation comprises, in the immediate vicinity of the feed antechamber, two cylinders with profiled lateral surfaces that rotate in opposite directions and are cooled from the inside with water so that the alloy solidifies in the form of a strip which is further fragmented due to a other pairs of cylinders with profiled surfaces, ensuring by their shape the determination of the length of the granules.
