Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a stirenului de înalta puritate din polistiren rezidual prin depolimerizare termocatalitica. Se valorifica superior deseurile de polistiren, gudronul de la distilarea stirenului, polistirenul rezidual din ape impure, concomitent cu diminuarea poluarii mediului.
