Procedeul, conform inventiei, consta în racirea si granularea concomitenta a topiturii de sulf urmata de recristalizare în continuare a sulfului prin încalzirea granulelor pîna la temperatura de transformare a sulfului în modificatia beta si racirea în continuare a granulelor pîna la transformarea sulfului în modificatia alfa.
