Abstract

Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a silicatului de calciu sub forma de xonotlit si wollastonit sintetic, materii prime valoroase, pentru industria prefabricatelor usoare (xonotlitul) si pentru industria ceramica (wollastonitul) pe baza reactiei chimice dintre sulfat de calciu si silicat de sodiu. Procedeul prezinta avantajul valorificarii unui deseu poluant (fosfogipsul) si al obtinerii unui wollastonit de calitate superioara si concomitent se obtine, ca produs secundar, sulfatul desodiu produs cu utilizari multiple în economia nationala.The invention relates to a process for the production of calcium silicate in the form of xonotlite and synthetic wollastonite, valuable raw materials for the light prefabrication industry (xonotlite) and for the ceramic industry (wollastonite) based on the chemical reaction between calcium sulphate and sodium silicate . The process has the advantage of using a pollutant waste (phosphogypsum) and of obtaining a high quality wollastonite, and at the same time obtains, as a by-product, the desulphurised sulphate produced with multiple uses in the national economy.
