Abstract

The invention relates to a process and an installation for the thermal degassing of methane-containing geothermal waters in order to prepare water and gas collection for use. The process and the installation ensure, at the same time, the automatic adjustment of the water flow from the probe, as well as the separation of the steam entrained with the combustible gases. The process and installation have direct application in the exploitation of geothermal water resources and can be extended to other similar thermal degassing processes.
