Abstract

Procedeul de recuperare a namolului din amidon, dintr-un material ce contine amidon, consta din formarea unui namol apos al materialului ce contine amidon, separarea fractiunii bogate în amidon de cea mai mare parte a componentelor ce ramîn în aceasta, urmata de spalarea fractiunii bogate în amidon, în cel putin o faza de spalare, precum si de recuperarea unui namol final de amidon, avînd puritatea dorita. Apa proaspata folosita în cele trei faze de lucru este aceeasi. Cel putin o parte din apa folosita este separata într-o prima si o a doua fractiune, prima fractiune avînd un continut mai redus de substante insolubile si solubile decît a doua, recircularea primei fractiuni si folosirea ei împreuna cu apa proaspata determinînd cresterea puritatii amidonului în etapa de spalare. Materialul ce contine amidon poate fi porumb, în care caz primele doua faze de lucru sunt înmuierea si macinarea umeda, în timp ce apa folosita la etapele de spalare si separare este divizata în doua fractiuni iar apa contine gluten în suspensie, este de asemenea separata în doua fractiuni dupa parasirea unei statii de separare primare a glutenului de amidon.
