Inventia se refera la o microcapsula cu structura filamentara, care în scopul unei manipulari libere, dupa necesitati, prezinta un învelis tubular protector pentru sporirea rezistentei mecanice si un nucleu activ, inclus în acesta, dispuse concentric cu o orientare excentrica, învelisul fiind confectionat dintr-un polimer liniar, artificial si sintetic, o substanta activa ca, de exemplu, o enzima activa, orientat de-a lungul axelor longitudinale ale acesteia.
