Inventia se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a unei compozitii erbicide pe baza de 2-metoxi-4-etilamino-6-tert-butilamino-s-triazina, prin tratarea 2-clor-4-etilamino 6-tert-butilamino-s-triazinei cu hidroxid de sodiu în metanol, în prezenta de 2...3% suspensie de creta sau caolin în apa, si 0,5% dinaftolmetandisulfonat de sodiu, la temperatura de reflux, produsul cristalin obtinut fiind amestecat, în continuare, fara purificare, cu solventi, agenti activi de suprafata si, eventual, cu 2-clor-4,6-bis-etilamino-s-triazina.The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a herbicidal composition based on 2-methoxy-4-ethylamino-6-tert-butylamino-s-triazine by treating 2-chloro-4-ethylamino 6-tert- triazine with sodium hydroxide in methanol in the presence of 2-3% chalk or kaolin suspension in water and 0.5% sodium dinaphthylmethanesulfonate at reflux temperature, the obtained crystalline product being further mixed without purification , with solvents, surface-active agents and optionally with 2-chloro-4,6-bis-ethylamino-s-triazine.
