Prezenta inventiei se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea unor derivati de piranona cu formula generala I: (vezi form. in desc.) în care R1 reprezinta un radical COOR5 în care R5 este hidrogen sau alchil inferior sau fenil eventual substituit cu halogen sau alcoxi inferior R2 reprezinta radicalul -CH=CH-R6 între care R6 reprezinta un radical fenil substituit cu un atom de halogen o grupare hidroxi sau alcoxi inferior o grupare alchilsulfonil inferior o grupa amino nitro sau carboxi trifluormetil SR sau NHCOR5 în care R5 este un radical alchil inferior R3 reaprezinta un atom de hidrogen R4 reprezinta un atom de hidrogen R1 este fenil sau 4-metoxifenil, R2 sa nu fie stiril sau 4-metoxistiril, compusi care prezinta proprietati farmacologice prin aceea ca un compus cu formula generala II:(vezi for. in desc.) în care Me reprezinta radicalul metil iar R1, R3, R4 au semnificatiile sus-mentionate se supune reactiei cu o aldehida cu formula generala III:(vezi form. in desc.) în care R6 are semnificatiile sus-mentionate în prezenta unei baze de preferinta etoxid de sodiu, la o temperatura între 20 degree C si temperatura de fierbere a amestecului de reactie.The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of piranone derivatives of the general formula I wherein R 1 represents a radical COOR 5 wherein R 5 is hydrogen or lower alkyl or phenyl optionally substituted by halogen or lower alkoxy R2 represents the radical -CH = CH-R6 wherein R6 represents a phenyl radical substituted with a halogen atom, a hydroxy or lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylsulfonyl group, a nitro or carboxy trifluoromethyl group SR or NHCOR5 group, wherein R5 is a lower alkyl radical R 3 represents a hydrogen atom R 4 represents a hydrogen atom R 1 is phenyl or 4-methoxyphenyl, R 2 is not a styryl or 4-methoxystyryl, compounds which exhibit pharmacological properties in that a compound of general formula II: wherein Me represents the methyl radical and R 1, R 3, R 4 have the above-mentioned meanings is reacted with an aldehyde of general formula III: wherein R 6 has the above-mentioned meanings in the presence of a sodium ethoxide base preferably at a temperature between 20 ° C and the boiling temperature of the reaction mixture.
