Conform inventiei, procedeul pentru obtinerea unui compound pe baza de poliuretan consta în taierea, la dimensiuni de 10...25mm, a poliuretanului elastomer microcelular-recuperabil, rezultat prin procedeul de turnare directa sau prin procedeul de injectie, preîncalzirea acestuia la 60...100 degree C, si macinare la dimensiuni de 2...6mm, dupa care poluretanul astfel pregatit se amesteca, în proportie de 5...50% în greutate, cu granule de polistiren rezistent la soc, avînd domensiuni de 3...4mm, într-un malaxor sau într-un exteruder, la temperatura de 130...170 degree C, în final compoundul granulîndu-se prin metode mecanice sau termomecanice.
