Conform inventiei, procedeul de obtinere a biogazului din dejectii animaliere, prin fermentarea namolurilor la temperaturi de 35 + - 2 degree C, consta în urmatoarele: în scopul micsorarii perioadei de fermentare la 8...12 zile si obtinerii unui randament de biogaz de 85...95%, apele reziduale rezultate din dejectii animaliere sunt tratate cu o solutie de 10% var stins pîna la pH = 8,3...8,5 flocoalele obtinute sunt separate de apa epurata, prin sedimentare, iar namolul îngrosat sedimentat se supune fermentarii, în mod cunoscut, pentru obtinerea biogazului.
