Procedeu de preparare a unor solutii concentrare de formaldehida, în care rectificarea se face la diferenta de presiune în partea superioara a coloanei de 3...100 mm coloana de mercur la o presiune de 20...30 mm Hg, presiunea la partea inferioara a coloanei fiind de 0,8....2,5 at si diferente de presiune la partea inferioara a coloanei fiind de 0,5...2,4 at, cu alimentare, în partea centrala, respectiv inferioara, a coloanei, a unui adaos cu actiune stabilizanta - acid formic si un solvent organic care nu formeaza cu apa un amestec azeotrop, reprezentat de un compus cu continuturi de hidroxil, cel putin doua grupe hidroxil, respectiv un amestec de produse secundare cu punct de fierbere pe înalt de la sinteza de dimetildioxan.
