Instrument pentru masurat si verificat forma diferitelor parti componente ale încaltamintei carecterizat prin aceea ca, în scopul evitarii refuzurilor de calitate, este alcatuit dintr-o piesa (A) plana, gradata în linie dreapta (a) pentru simetrii si dimensiunile înaltimilor de toc, sau pe marginile curbate adaptate (b) pentru înaltimea tocurilor joase si grosimea talpii, (c) pentru grosimea talpilor, (d) pentru grosimea talpilor si a capacelor de toc sub 1 cm (e) pentru înaltimea carîmbilor la spate în exterior, (f) pentru înaltimea carîmbilor în interior si (g) pentru lungimea caputelor dupa tragere pe calapod.
