Abstract

The invention relates to a modular tie made of a leather substitute, such as cork. According to the invention, the tie has a main body (1) to which a ready-made knot (2) is detachably fixed, at the top part of the knot (2), on each of its sides, there being an attaching strap (3) having at its free end a detachably fastening means (3a) which is in connection with a detachably fastening means (4a and 5a) of a strap (4 and 5) for tightening/loosening it around the user's shirt collar, the main body (1) comprising, on its inner face, a buttonhole (6) having a slot (6a) which can hold the shirt button.
