Abstract

The invention relates to a drinking device that can be adapted to various plastic or paper containers with drinking liquids or to metallic beverage cans. According to the invention, the device comprises a tube-shaped body (1) made of glass or ceramic material, having the dimensions of a usual bottle neck, provided at the top with a rounded lip projecting outside the tube-shaped body (1), while the bottom part is tightly fixed, by means of a circular attachment member (3) of another tube-shaped body (2) which is provided, at its bottom, with means (4) for clamping onto the external circumference of a dispensing end of a container with drinking liquid, this way permitting the liquid to pass from the container to the user, via the glass or ceramic tube-shaped body (1) while preventing liquid from leaking out.

Description

Drinking device
The present invention relates to a drinking device, glass or ceramic material, adaptable to containers containing drinking liquids, such as plastic containers, cardboard containers or metallic doses, containing beer, soft drinks, juices , milk and the like, as well as to the combination of a container containing drinking liquid with a drinking glass, glass or ceramic material according to the invention.
Drinking liquids such as beer, soft drinks, juices, milk, and the like are packaged in containers of various materials which are suitable for food use and which maintain the physico-chemical properties and organoleptic qualities of the drinking liquid for a certain period of time.
Such materials for drinking liquor containers may be plastics for food use such as PP (polypropylene), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), PEHD (high density polyethylene), metallic materials such as aluminum, glass or ceramic material, or coated cardboard with polyethylene foil associated with aluminum foil.
The use of PET containers, metal dosages or carton boxes, for example in the Tetra-Pak system, for packaging beer, soft drinks, juices, milk has several advantages such as the fact that the weight of the product packed in such a package of the container is smaller compared to the weight of the same amount of product packed in a glass or ceramic container, making it easier to handle and carry, making it attractive both to the manufacturer and the consumer.
It is known that consumers often drink drinking fluids directly from receptacles by contacting the mouth with the dispensing end of the container.
The contact of the mouth with the dispensing end of the container has a specific representation in the mind of the consumer which refers to the quality of the contact surface and, on the other hand, to the perceived taste.
The quality of the contact surface refers to the smooth or glossy appearance, the geometric profile of the dispensing end for drinking, whether ribbed or not, if it is provided with a narrow end or a rounded lip, etc.
The perceived taste is a resultant taste of the drinking liquid in combination with the taste induced by mouth contact with the material from which the dispensing end of the container is made.
Thus, in the case of mouth contact with the dispensing end of a plastic container, the consumer perceives and associates the taste of the drinking liquid and a specific taste of the plastic material.
In the same way, in the case of mouth contact with the dispensing end of a container in the form of a metal dose, the consumer perceives and associates the taste of the drinking liquid and a specific metallic taste.
In addition, in the case where more consumers would like to drink from the same container, there is also a hygienic problem arising from the contact of the first consumer mouth with the dispensing end of the container.
It is an object of this invention to provide a drinking device of glass or ceramic material adaptable to the dispensing end of a plastic, cardboard or metallic dose receptacle so as to allow the consumer to drink the liquid content by contact of the mouth with the glass or ceramic material device, thus avoiding contact of the mouth with the dispensing end of the container.
It is a further object of this invention to provide a drinking device of glass or ceramic material which can be individually adapted and used and can be removed and replaced by a drinking device from the material glass or unused ceramic material to avoid hygiene problems if a group of consumers want to drink from the same container.
It is a further object of this invention to provide a drinking device of glass or ceramic material which can be individually adapted and which can be washed under water, sanitized and reused after use.
Another object of this invention is to provide a combination of a container containing drinking liquid with a drinking device, glass material or ceramic material.
The drinking device, adaptable to containers containing drinking fluids according to the invention, consists of a tubular body of glass material or ceramic material having the dimensions of the neck of a conventional consumer glass receptacle provided at the top with a projected rounded lip outside the tubular body and the lower part being sealed by a circular gripping means provided at the top of another tubular body provided at the bottom with grip means by the outer circumference of a dispensing end of a container containing drinking liquid, allowing the liquid to flow from the receptacle to the consumer, through the tubular body of glass or ceramic material, without leakage of liquid.
Glass material means ordinary glass, crystal, colored glass, etc.
Ceramic material means ordinary ceramics, porcelain, etc.
The advantages of the present invention consist in: - improving the taste perception in the situation of liquid consumption directly from the container of plastic, metal or cardboard; - Avoid contact with the mouth of the plastic, metal or cardboard container; - adapting the drinking device and removing it easily to and from the dispensing end of the plastic, metal or cardboard container; - ensuring individual hygiene in case of consumption in the same container by more consumers - possibility of reuse of the drinking device

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the drinking device consists of a tubular body 1 of glass material having the shape and dimensions of the neck of a glass receptacle customary for the consumer.
The tubular body 1 can be made by processing the bottles recovered from the recycling circuit.
At the top of the tubular body 1, glass is provided with a rounded lip, which is designed externally, which allows the consumer to have a mouth contact with a smooth, pleasant surface to touch.
The lower part of the tubular body 1 of glass material is sealed by a tubular body 2 made of a material suitable for food use and having a degree of elasticity suitable for pressing.
The tubular body 2 has at its upper end a clamping means 3 for tightly securing the tubular body 1.
The gripping means 3 may be in any shape suitable for the tight fixation of the tubular body 1 by the tubular body 2, such as in the form of a groove provided in the circular wall of the tubular body 2 represented in Figure 1 as a circular frame for penetration Inside the tubular body 1, represented in Figure 1A, in the form of a circular frame for enclosing the outside of the tubular body 1, represented in Figure 1B, or in another form.
The gripping means 3 are dimensioned such that the tubular body 1 is firmly fastened by pressing with respect to the gripping means of the gripping means 3.
In order to ensure tightness, the gripping means 3 may be provided with a film of material for increasing adhesion, for example a silicone film or with a final binding material, for example a film of adhesive.
Also, in order to ensure the tightness of the tubular body 1 to the tubular body 2, a tubular thermosensitive foil can be used to clothe and fix the assembly of the drinking device.
In this embodiment, the tubular body 2 is cylindrical in shape.
The tubular body 2 has, at the inner side, a plurality of ribs defining an inner thread able to engage the drinking device by the outer circumference of a dispensing end of the plastic or cardboard container containing drinking liquid.
After the assembly of the drinking device with the plastic or cardboard container, through tapping and firm fixation to ensure sealing, the liquid passes from the container to the consumer through the tubular body 1 of glass material without leakage of liquid.
Depending on the type of the container containing the drinking liquid and its dispensing head, the tubular body 2 may be in the form of a lid cup, the diameter of which extends gradually from the upper part where the gripping means 3 is located to its lower part , up to a diameter of the lower part which is suitable for fastening to the outer circumference of the container containing drinking liquid of the type of a metal dose represented in Figure 2.
At the edge of the lower part of the tubular body 2 there are provided suitable gripping means relative to the edge of the container containing drinking liquid.
If the container containing the drinking liquid is a metallic dose, a rib 4 is provided at the edge of the lower part of the tubular body 2 so as to provide a tight fit of the tubular body 2 relative to the edge of the metallic dose, the rib 4 penetrating, pressing into the outer circumferential space delimited by the top edge 5 of the dose.
In an alternative embodiment for the metallic dose, the edge of the lower part of the tubular body 2 is provided with a groove dimensioned so as to provide a tight fit of the tubular body 2 to the edge of the metal dose, the upper edge 5 of the dose piercing, of said groove.
The present invention relates to any combination of dimensions and shapes of the drinking device, glass material or ceramic material, with containers containing drinking liquids.

    A drinking device adaptable to containers containing drinking liquids characterized in that it consists of a tubular body (1) made of glass material or ceramic material having the dimensions of the neck of a consumer glass receptacle provided at the top with a rounded lip projecting outwardly from the tubular body and the lower part being sealed by a circular gripping means (3) of a tubular body (2) provided at the bottom with gripping means (4) by the outer circumference of a the dispensing end of a container containing drinking liquid, allowing the liquid to flow from the container to the consumer through the tubular body (1) made of glass or ceramic material without leakage.
  2. Drinking device according to claim 1, characterized in that the lower part of the tubular body (2) has a size appropriate to the outer circumference of the dispensing end of a container containing drinking liquid.
  3. Drinking device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the gripping means (4) of the tubular body (2) are in the form of an internal thread or in the form of a press-fitting rib.
  4. Drinking device according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the tubular body (1) is sealed by the tubular body (2) additionally with a tubular shrink wrap.
  5. A drinking device according to the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it is adapted to plastic containers, metal dosages or cardboard boxes.
  6. Drinking device according to the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the tubular body (1) is made by processing the recovered bottles.
  7. A drinking set consisting of a drinking device, glass or ceramic material of claims 1 to 6 adapted to a container containing drinking liquids.
