Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus which enables direct analysis of angulation between the medial planes of clinical teeth crowns on the diagnostic model of a dental arch in relation with a fixed reference plane, to be used in dentistry. According to the invention, the apparatus includes an optical block (5) having at its top part at least two light sources (1) and at its bottom part a linear opaque element (7), while sidewise there is a protractor (8), a dental model (4) being placed on a table (9) of variable tilt, where some lines (3) representing the crossing of the reference plane with the crown of each tooth of the model are projected on said model (4), the plane of the shadow being tiltable at variable angles, as the whole optical block (5) that projects the shadow is tiltable in respect of the vertical plane.

Description

Prezenta invenție își găsește aplicații în domeniul medicinei dentare.The present invention finds applications in the field of dental medicine.

The analysis of the models of the dental arches at the parallelogram is made predominantly axial, with rods, some also containing retentivometric discs. Therefore, it is impossible to directly analyze the inclination of the clinical crowns with respect to a given reference plane, except when using a laser-parlalelograph; In this case, however, the visibility of the traits is conditioned by the operation of the device in a dark environment, the retina having to suffer due to the reflection of the LASER radiation.

Modelul dentar este așezat pe o masă (9) cu înclinație variabilă, cuplată printr-o nucă sferică (10), blocabilă cu ajutorul șurubului (11), la un soclu metalic (12).The present invention involves the design of a shadow (shadow plane) by at least two light sources (1) arranged as in the figure; Thus, on the diagnostic model (4) will be projected the lines (3) that represent the intersection of the reference plane (the shadow plane) with the crown of each tooth in the model. The shadow plane can be tilted at variable angles, because the entire optical block (5) that projects the shadow can flip to the vertical plane, the inclination values being read on a rapporteur (6). The optical block contains the light sources at the top, the linear opaque element (7) that produces the shadow, at the bottom as well as the landmark for the rapporteur (8) on the side. The dental model is placed on a table (9) with variable inclination, coupled by a spherical nut (10), lockable by means of the screw (11), to a metal base (12).

The whole system is arranged on a base plate (13) on which the socket (12) can slide freely and in which the fixing rods of the optical block (2) are fixed.

Aparatul permite:The visoparallelograph facilitates the analysis of the angulation between the reference plane and the median vestibulo-oral and midiodistal plane of the dental crowns. The device allows:

a) alegerea axei de inserție / preparație;a) choosing the insertion / preparation axis;

b) marcarea cu creion a intersecției dintre viitoarele fețe axiale ale bontului dentar și fata ocluzală / supracingulară a dintelui analizat.b) marking in pencil the intersection between the future axial faces of the dental abutment and the occlusal / supracingular face of the analyzed tooth.

Transferring these markings to the oral cavity helps the doctor to properly prepare and parallel the dental stumps.

c) Analiza modelelor în ortodonțiec) Analysis of models in orthodontics

The practical implementation of the device involves the installation on a common optical block of light sources and a linear marking that will lead to the design of a shadow. On the base support is placed a table with variable inclination, identical to that of the classical parallelographs.
