Abstract

The invention relates to a process for preparing recovered polypropylene composites of improved impact strength. According to the invention, the process consists in modifying, by melt-alloying, the polypropylene recovered on the roller, at a friction coefficient of 1.18...1.20, at a temperature of 185...190°C, for 15 min, with 5...95% mixture of two styrene-isoprene block-copolymers in a ratio of 25:75, with a melt flow index of 8.2...13.9 g/10 min, to result in a composite which has an impact strength of 4.8...6.4 kJ/mat 20°C and of 3.2...4.2 kJ/mat -20°C.
