Abstract

The invention relates to hydroelectric farms placed on the tailrace of hydroelectric plants forming, as alternative to wind farms, a succession of generator units connected in series along the tailrace whereinto the hydroelectric station overflows, to obtain electric power when the hydroelectric plant is not in service while using only the minimum flow rate for the maintenance of upstream aquatic medium, about 1-1.2 m/s, minimum flow rate that can put into operation generators of 50...150 kw/h. The claimed hydroelectric farms provide the needed technical solution by a ditch in the middle of the channel with two mobile penstocks (3) forcing the water flow in the ditch and, by the generated pressure, driving some paddle-wheels (1) which, in their turn, drive some serially-mounted generators (2), the water flow being directed by the penstocks (3) to the ditch of a channel (4), thereby compressing the energy force of the tailrace (5) without modifying the construction of the channel or destroying a dam (6).
