Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an equipment for monitoring persons. The claimed method consists in taking over information necessary for the identification of persons, such as fingertips, voice, images and transmitting said information to an identifying system which compares it with information contained in a data base. The claimed monitoring equipment is embedded in a mug and consists of a rigid structure including : an array of serially connected thermoelectric elements (1) and an array of serially connected capacitive elements (2), a voltage being generated at the output of thermoelectric elements (1), due to the difference of temperature between the liquid within the mug and the environment, voltage which is applied at the input of an energy recovery circuit which generates at the output, a voltage suitable for supplying some electronic circuits, the energy recovery circuit charging the overcapacity resulting from the serial connection of the capacitive elements (2), which, in its turn, supplies a microcontroller (3), embedded in the mug walls, said microcontroller (3) taking over data from a microphone (4), a video minicamera (5), an accelerometric or gyroscopic sensor (6), a temperature sensor, a DNA sensor (7) placed on the mug lip, a fingerprint sensor (8), placed on the mug circumference and handle, the microcontroller communicating with a non-volatile external memory and an RF module (9) which is provided with an antenna (10).
