Abstract

The invention relates to a portable folding garage with swinging door meant to be used for parking a motor car and which may be installed on any flat surface having the required size for a single motor car-type parking. According to the invention, the garage consists of some side panels (A, B, C and D), a rear panel (E) and a wing frame (6) fixed at its front part, the garage being closed at the top by using some metal-sheet elements (10) resting on some girders (9), a swinging door (F) being positioned within the frame (6). At the top of its vertical sides (a and b) the swinging door (F) is provided with some guiding rollers (18) which can roll along some slides (19 and 20). On the same sides, at a certain distance, there are hingedly mounted by means of some screws (21) some counterbalance levers (22 and 23) provided at their free ends with some balance weights (24 and 25). The swinging door (F) is provided with a profiled frame (14) whereon, by means of some screws (16) and nuts (17), there are mounted the above-mentioned guiding rollers (18) which are provided with a circular groove (c). The slides (19 and 20) have a capital C-shaped cross section and are fixed in a horizontal position on the panels (C) and the panels (A), respectively, starting from the vicinity of the wing frame (6).
