Abstract

The invention relates to a tile for roofing which has an inner (12) and outer (6) covering surface as well as some hanging noses/securing lungs (25) in the area of its top end, and as result of the moulding of its outer surface (6) on the type of more individual roofing overlaying tiles have a step (11) which have some decorative groove (10) in longitudinal direction on the inner covering surface (12) at which lengthwise the edges of the upper transverse side (4) with respect to the using position onto the inner covering surface (12) a ledge end (5) is formed which lays on the inner covering surface (12) and which has substantially the same thickness except for the reinforcement ribs (13, 14) on both sides of the step (11).
