Abstract
The invention relates to acrylated epoxyurethanes used in thermal and UV drying systems, overprint varnishes, covers, protective and autographic writing inks, resisting ink for printed circuits, adhesives, laminations, covers for videodiscs, having the general formula:and to a process for producing the same, consisting in that a mixture comprising 0.005...0.5 moles of epoxy resins with an epoxy equivalent ranging from 300 to 2000, and having the molecular weight in the range of 300 to 2500, 0.001...0.9 moles of acrylic acids and 0.001...0.8 moles of diisocyanates, is reacted at a temperature of 20...160 °C for 30...300 min. The resulting acrylated epoxyurethanes have a degree of cross-linking which provides films with a very good adhesiveness, flexibility, yellowing resistance, as well as a viscosity processable without solvents.
