The invention relates to a holographic process for three-dimensional copying of optical and holographic memories. The copying process is characterized in that it involves fluorescence holography and makes use of fluorescent photosensitive vitroceramics containing fluorides and rare earths as holographic materials. The production of the copy comprises two steps: 1) the manufacturing of the matrix-memory. 2) the production of the copy of the matrix-memory. The invention has the advantage of manufacturing copies of optical and holographic memories by means of a process which eliminates the individual processing of each information bit.
