Abstract

The invention relates to a centrifugal compressor with inbuilt multiplier comprising a coupling for driving the assembly, a central wheel multiplier, a body for transmitting the rotation motion by means of couplings, subassemblies comprising housings of rotor assemblies and rotor assemblies, all said elements being fastened on the same bed frame, so that the two or more rotor assemblies (F) are driven by means of the central wheel multiplier (B) by some pinions (1) transmitting the rotation motion to the rotor assemblies (F) using some couplings (2) with double toothing or with grooves, the separation of the gas flow, which may be explosive, being achieved by some bearings (3) of the rotor assemblies and by some bearings of the pinions (4) by means of some dismountable housings (5) having the visibility and the access ensured by the body of transmitting the rotation through couplings (C) while the quick dismounting during the stops is ensured by a bearing-carrier cover (7) which allows the dismounting operation by having some orifices (b) whose diameter (c) is larger than a diameter (e) of the coupling (2), and also by some dismountable covers (8), thereby resulting a unique dismountable subassembly (G) comprising the pinion (1) and the coupling (2).
