Abstract

The invention relates to a soybean variety (Glycine max L. Merill, subspecies manshurica, the immaculate variety) with the name Victoria, obtained by sexually hybridized line F 75-2005 and Giant Green variety, followed by individual selection repeated, recommended to be grown in the southern areas, west and south of Moldova. It is a semi - lean kind with the 123-day vegetation period productions of 4280 kg / ha in irrigated and 2880 kg / ha on non-irrigated. The bean contains 384-44% dry substance proteins and 174-22% fat. The Victoria is is well suited for mechanized harvesting.

Description

The invention relates to a variety of soybeans (Gfycine max L. Merill, manshurica subspecies, immaculate variety), named Victoria, obtained by sexual hybridization between line F 75-2005 and Giant Green variety, followed by individual selection, repeated, recommended to be cultivated in the southern, western and southern areas of Moldova.

It is known and cultivated in our country the soybean variety Evans, which has as parents the varieties Merit and Harosoy. It has an erect stalk, 604-100 cm high, with 12 intemodes, rich in branches, semi-sunken. It has determined growth. The leaflets are oval in shape and green in color, with a pronounced white porosity, which, when matured, becomes gray. The inflorescence is a raceme with white flowers. The pasture is arched, with a broad, colored tip, at maturity, in light gray, 4 4-5 cm long and 0.8 ^ -1.1 cm wide. The bob has the ovoid shape, the color of the yellow skin, the yellow thread. It is a semi-early variety, with a vegetation period of 1104-137 days, resistant to fall and shaking, sensitive to drought and has medium to good resistance to diseases. The mass of 1000 grains is 1204-180 g, the protein content of 30.14-44.0% in s.u. and fat content 18.04-27.1%. Produces between 21.1 and 27.8 q / ha. It is recommended to be cultivated in the Romanian Plain and in the southern part of the Western Plain for irrigated crops and in Muntenia, Oltenia, Moldova, the north and the center of the Western Plain for non-irrigated crops.

The technical problem, which the invention solves, is the creation of a variety of soybeans with high resistance to drought, disease and high production potential.

The Victoria variety, according to the invention, removes the shortcomings of the known varieties and distinguishes them by the fact that it has an erect, compact, 90 to 100 cm high stem, with indeterminate growth, with gray pubescence and anthocyanic pigment, in the hypocotyl area. The leaf is light green, sharp ovate, medium in size, with gray pubescence, the inflorescence is a raceme with purple flowers. The fruit is a light brown-brown pastry with gray brushes. The seed is round, yellow, with the brown thread open. The mass of 1000 grains of 175 g. It is a semi-late variety with a vegetation period of 123 days.

Victoria variety is resistant to fall, shaking, drought resistant and soybean resistant (Soybean Virus 1), bacterial burn resistant (Pseudomonas gfycinea) and hand (Peronosporamanshuricd) and sensitive to white rot rot (Sclerotinia sclerotior) . The seeds have a protein content of 384-44% and a fat content of 174-22%. It achieves an average production of 4280 kg / ha, exceeding by 16.1% the control variety Evans in irrigated and un irrigated culture, in the west, 2880 kg / ha, exceeding the control variety Evans by 16.2%.

The weight of 1000 grains (MMB) is 175 g, with limits of variation 1324-220 g, depending on the environment and culture conditions.

The Victoria variety is a semi-late variety, with an average vegetation period of 123 days in the southern and western areas, 2-3 days longer than the Evans control variety.

The variety is resistant to falling, shaking and drought resistant environment. It is resistant to soybean mosaic (Soybean Virus 7), resistant to bacterial burns (Pseudomonas gfycinea) and manna (Peronospora manshurica) and sensitive to white rot, stalk (Sclerotinia sclerotioriari).

The seeds have a protein content of 38-f44% s.u. and in fats of 174-22%.

The Victoria variety achieved an average production of 4280 kg / ha in irrigated culture in the south, surpassing by an average production increase of 16.1%, the control variety Evans. It achieved an average production of 2880 kg / ha in non-irrigated western culture, surpassing Evans with an average increase of 16.2%. It can be grown in the southern, western and southern areas of Moldova.

By cultivating the Victoria variety, the following advantages are obtained:

- the variety has the capacity to form an increased number of flowering nodes and pods on the plant, to form large grains, this, due to the increased resistance to the main diseases;

- the beans are larger than the control variety, due to the positive correlation of the grain size, with their higher protein content;

- realizes increased productions of both grains and proteins, at the surface unit;

- the variety represents a genetic progress, obviously, by combining the high production capacity, within the maturity group, with high content, in proteins;

- it is very suitable for mechanized harvesting;

- being a semi-late and productive variety, it can be cultivated in the southern, western and southern areas of Moldova, as a precursor for autumn cereals, ensuring the seeds a good cultural value.
