Abstract
Fabrics contg. mixed polyester and cellulosic fibres are impregnated in a bath of 80-100 g/l reactive dimethylol-hydroxethyl-urea type resin 10-12 g/l MgCl2 and 25-30 g/l of an aq. dispersion of a copolyester, contg. terephthalate, ethylene-oxide and polyethylene-oxide gps. or of 100-120 g/l urea-formaldehyde resin, 2.5-3 g/l ammonium chloride, and 8-10 g/l urea. The fabric is wrung to 60-70% level; dried at 100-110 deg.C., pressed at room temp. saturised and condensed at 140-150 deg.C. for 4 minutes..
