Abstract

The connector comprises: a set of paired compensation loops located respectively under and in the centre of the cell one quarter the cell length from it. The magnetic inductance is kept symmetrical by asymmetric location of the cathodic collector bars. A vertical compensation loop is also provided at the top of each cell, together with a compensation circuit carrying 9% of the total vertical current of the cell.
