Abstract

The automatic installation is used for cutting-off and manufacturing clamps in continuous flow out of a narrow strip of rolled steel. It comprises lateral bending benches driven by hydraulic cylinders and includes a profile gauge (1) placed, with an enlarged section area (a), between a fix blade (2) and a buffer (3), perpendicular on the profile gauge (1). In the area (a), a profile wedge grip (4) with a mobile blade (5) glides, driven by an articulated mechanism (6), at its turn driven by a pneumatic cylinder (7). The profile gauge (1) has an enlarged section area (a) continuing downward with a smaller section area (b); at the level of the latter are placed the lateral bending benches (8).<IMAGE>
