Abstract

The invention refers to an equipment for back-up protection of generator-transformer-line units. According to the invention, the device consists of three capacitive impedance relays, attached to the connection station. They detect the non-stimulus, asynchronous state produced after the field quenching and which acts through a time relay upon the connection station switch serving as a spare to the station switch.
