Abstract

The process comprises boiling for 60 minutes in a 1% water or pyridine soln. at a mix ratio of 1:50, in the presence of anhydrous ZnCl2. Diazotisation is carried out in a soln. made up to 27 parts water, 3 parts conc. HCl acid, 0.2 g sodium nitrite in min. of water, and coupling in a bath contg. 0.5 g solvite coupling agent in NaOH soln.
