Abstract

The invention concerns the pliers used to mount gaskets for the doors of international-type containers.According to the invention, the pliers consist of an open frame on whose sides are mounted: on one side, a strip pressing foot; on the second side, a support fixing the metal on the strip, and on the third side, a double cam hinged through a catch pin-pulley-splint assembly. A pipe-handle is welded to the cam, and, in order to protect the pint layer on the container while using the pliers to mount the gasket, a felt attached to the handle with a clip covers the active surface of the cam.The J-type wrapping gasket mounted on the door and cured according to its shape is fixed on the sides of the door of the container. Thus, the pliers are used to mount the gasket as well as press the gasket on the side and on the edge and in the same time to fix the metal.
