A partir do primeiro terço a contar da ponta estilizada projecta-se um esporão (4) de secção semicircular com a sua parte plana voltada para o interior, quer dizer, para o corpo (1), apresentando por sua vez este esporão (4), até à sua parte intermédia, um pequeno apêndice ou esporão (5) próprio para a retenção do isco, sendo a restante parte (6) de secção plana e sendo rematada por uma ponta aguçada (7), de forma que esta extremidade se constitui à maneira de uma farpa flexível.
