An article carrier for picking up an upper portion intended to house a plurality of articles, for example bottles, of different sizes, a package comprising first and second side panels (12, 16) and a base panel (14) joining the side panels to form a plurality of aligned tubular sections each adapted to house an article, wherein said first panel has a pair of apertures (50, 52) and the second panel has apertures (60, 62) aligned with corresponding apertures of the first panel and wherein at least one collar of each pair of corresponding apertures of the first and second panels is adapted to engage and support a portion of the neck of an article B extending through said base panel, characterized in that the first tubular section has a different size relative to a tubular section adjacent home.

A conveyor as claimed in claim 1, wherein a portion of the base of said first tubular section has a size different from the adjacent portion of the base of said adjacent tubular section.

A conveyor as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the side panels of said first tubular section have a different size relative to the side panels of said adjacent tubular structure.

An article carrier as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the first tubular section and said adjacent tubular section are joined to each other through the base panel (14). 2 2

An article carrier according to any one of the preceding claims wherein portions of the first and second panels (12, 16) are attached face to face such that each of the aligned tubular sections is dimensioned to accommodate one of said articles (B).

An article carrier according to any one of the preceding claims wherein said base panel (14) has a plurality of apertures (56, 58) of different sizes in order to receive articles which likewise have different sizes.

An article carrier according to any one of the preceding claims wherein the first and / or second side panels (12, 16) extend beyond said aligned tubular sections and wherein the handle means is incorporated in the extension of the first and / or the second side panel.

An article carrier as claimed in claim 7, wherein said first tubular section and said adjacent tubular sections are connected through said handle structure.
