Claims

A portable display for outdoor use in wind conditions comprising a base for holding on a support surface and means for supporting an exposure panel on the base, characterized in that the base (1) is formed to cover the area of the support surface for the display and the device (6, 7) for mounting the display panel (16) are arranged so as to support the panel in a plane which extends vertically upwardly from a median line on the base extending to the outside on each side of the line, sufficiently to support the panel when subject to normal wind pressure for said plane; and castors (8) mounted with their axis substantially located on the rim of one side of the base, the base having a weight sufficient to maintain the display stand in windy conditions; and being formed so as to enable the display to be manually inclined along the same axis without the supporting surface and to move on the said casters to a new position.

An exhibitor as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the rollers consist of two coaxial wheels (8) or rollers which are respectively at the ends or near the ends of said collar.

An exhibitor as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the base has a surface (12) adjacent to said collar, to which an operator can climb with one foot while tilting the display on the same axis.
