"SISTEMA MAGNÉTICO-ELECTRÓNICO DE ABERTURA E FECHAMENTO DE FECHADURAS” .
MOO. 71 — 3.000 ex. — 03-·«

"MAGNETIC-ELECTRONIC SYSTEM OF OPENING AND CLOSURE OF LOCKS".
MOO. 71-3000 ex. - 03- · «
The present invention relates to a magnetic-electronic system for opening and closing locks,
The present invention relates, as its title indicates, to a magnetic-electronic system of opening and closing locks, which equip doors, for example of houses, and in which the drive, with regard to the latches that keep them closed , is obtained through the introduction in the form of a key, a body that will act on a magnet assembly that, in turn, will command electronic components that will provoke the electrical supply of relays that allow to unlock the tongues that until then had kept locked the door, thus allowing access to the location that such port defines ·
At the moment this type of systems of locks is very used and it is to suppress the traditional systems
[of cannon locks based on jagged keys.
There are currently very complicated mechanical systems on the market, other systems that are electronically

others being magnetic, those which will usually be used for electrical contacts, light beams of frequency or capacity oscillators, magnetic assemblies including magnets acting on ferromagnetic parts, whether on the basis of cards or magnetic strips, and the assembly with reading heads It is also used magnets based locks that act in combination in relation to magnetic detectors ti po w contact reed "effect or" Hall ".
ΜΟΒ. 71 - 3 000 ΕΧ. - OS-β *
All the systems currently in use present problems and drawbacks, since most of the locking efficiency is canceled if gasses are used, other systems exist where the drawbacks occur because the dirt that penetrates the holes in which magnetic keys or car keys are inserted. magnetic disks, makes them unusable; it is also inevitable that the keys normally used in locks of this type are magnetized.
Generally, magnetic locking systems, and even mechanical systems, or the combination thereof, have the disadvantage, which affects what is currently known, which results from the fact that the code or the signal permitting the locking of the lock to be located in the part of the lock that we can call female; that is, in the piece, or better said, in the set of pieces that are fixed to the door and that they must receive the key through proper drilling or opening. The location of the signal or code on such a female allows any expert to locate the code or signal and consequently can open the door either using gasses or drills or simply extracting the set of pieces called fê

moo. 7i - 3,000 εχ. Os-β ··
In known locking systems using magnetic detectors there are two obvious problems, the first of which is motivated by the fact that the electrical cable assemblies of the different detectors are enormously complicated, both in their preparation, in their assembly and by the fact of the connection must be individual to each key, it is observed that the code of aperture or signal will remain inside the female, with the aforementioned accessibility to this part. In addition, because the locks of such locks are located on the key or the male part, if this key were accidentally demagnetized, even if this inconvenience would only partially occur, the lock would become inaccessible, or better saying, unusable.
The type of locks disclosed herein, and to which the object of the present invention also relates, does not have safety locks that are directly driven since it is normal that only slides easily operable by electric means and contrary to the force is exerted by springs which aim to keep them in an extracting position, i.e., locking the door.
From what has heretofore been described and in view of the drawbacks indicated, one of the prime features of the object of the present invention is that the key code is not found in what has been called the female of the lock assembly, but contrary, in what was called male, that is to say in the key, and which, moreover, will not be permanent-3lv / 184.041

The subject of the present invention which, as indicated in the title, refers to locks of the electronic-magnetic type, comprises the key itself which will incorporate a plurality of independent parts although they may also form teeth-like elements or apertures in a soft iron blade, which will act on the female or receiver, there being provided within the female magnetic detectors which will preferably be "reed" or "Hall" contacts, the lock assembly also having, in addition, a single magnet which will keep activated all the contacts mentioned, as long as the key is not inserted. In combination with what has heretofore been described, the lock, object of the present invention, will incorporate a device based on a printed circuit which will be the support of the detectors which, by means of a multiple cable provided with two connection terminals, one of which will be installed on the printed circuit, while the other, the connection element of the multiple cable itself, will be installed in an electronic circuit incorporating logic based on a microprocessor and a micro-switch assembly with which, it will also drive a code verification device or signal of
opening.
In such conditions, it is understood that when the key or carton is inserted into the receiver or female, soft iron-based sections or teeth will absorb the magnetic field of any of the detectors that are permanently magnetized until they have received key penetration in the female, so that, under these conditions, that is to say, when the soft iron wrench is introduced, some of these

detectors and thus establish the actuation code which, if it coincides with what is programmed in the microswitches, the microprocessor will give electric passage to one or several power units properly transistorized and that will allow the passage of electric current to the lock or, rather, to the electromagnets that command the bolts or door locking slides.

With regard to the structure described here, it is necessary to point out that the first time the key with the appropriate code is introduced, this code will be verified by means of the "ad hoc" device for the intended purpose and then the microswitches according to the le :. Itura given precisely by the verifier. The logic is then prepared for its performance.
The structure of a lock embodying the improvements object of the present invention is described in detail hereinafter with the aid of the accompanying drawings, in which the different figures represent the following:

The female casing is formed by one or two bodies (9 and 10) and the interior of the container thereby conforming, in combination with the front shield in which the aperture clearly shown in Figure 1 is shown, to introduce the key, will be described later.
The key itself is formed by a support as indicated in (3), which has a flat rod in which there is a recess such as that referenced in (4), which may even be of passage, within which an insert (5, 5 ', 5'') which has a kind of teeth of the type of teeth (5, 5') or apertures (5 '), by which a plate (6) will be located, and all this in a suitably adjusted housing (7). The part (5, 5 ') is obtained from the part 5'', by eliminating any of its prongs or teeth and the version (5'), by opening some recesses.
The plaque (5, 5 *, 5 ") will be made of soft iron and, therefore, may magnetize but not remain with such properties.
The key 3 in the embodiment shown in figure 2, also starting from a body similar to that shown in figure 1, has the particularity of the cogged part 5, which will be that which forms the code, as in In the above case, for the opening of the lock to occur, it may incorporate a tail-like fitting of millions in which the small cap (8) is housed, so that, then, it will not be ne

it is necessary to assemble the casing (7). It will be understood that the key 3 can be realized by means of injection, melting or stamping, without the need to make the recess and the small cap pre-existing.
As shown in figure 3 the constitution of the female comes from a carcass formed by the part or pieces (9 and 10) that form a kind of caixotim, inside of which will be located, screwing up what can be called the ceiling of the a pair of bars which refer to (11), which by means of the screws shown in figure 3a will be separated from each other, allowing the provision of a magnet ( 12) in the form of a long rectangular bar · Immediately below is a block formed by the plates (13 and 14) which also have holes in the same way as the bars (11), to be fixed by the corresponding screws and locating between said plates (13 and 14) two bars (15), between which a gallery is to be opened which will be accessed through the aperture, as shown in figure 1, which shows the façade of the caixotim and through which it will penetrate the key that, in this case, would be
rectangular in its flat versions thereof, that if it were tubular, i.e. a key such as that shown in Figures 5, 6 and 7, this hole would be logically round, and in corsequence the block formed by the plates (13, 14) and bars 15 could be a single unit with adequate perforation and not shown in the drawings as unnecessary.
Below the plate (14) there are sleeve type spacers, which in combination with

will exist on the bottom of the lower part 9 of the chassis, will receive a board 16 incorporating a printed circuit with a holder 17 containing therein magnetic detectors which will be inserted in this printed circuit, the printed circuit being logically connected by (18) by a multiple cable (19) which on the opposite side has a further connecting element (20), the assembly of this suitably closed carton is that which will be fixed to the door leaf or away from it and at a suitable location to be able to insert the key, as shown in Fig. 3 itself, insisting that instead of a flat key could also be a tubular section.

The terminal or connector 20 of the multiple cable 19, as shown in Figure 4, will be connected to another printed circuit in which there is a microprocessor 22 suitably combined with a microswitch assembly 23 and verifiers 24. The microswitches shall be the selectors of the key code which is determined by the recesses, lugs or teeth of the part (5, 5 ', 5 ") according to the flat key, or by a series of soft iron discs and spacers which will keep them properly installed inside the tube forming the key, as shown in Figures 6 and 7.
It will be seen that, on the support of the microprocessor 22, i.e. on the plate 21, there is a switch 25 which has two opposing positions, one of which the tester 24 is in operation, performance.
From what has heretofore been understood

that when the key is flat or circular, it is inserted through the corresponding hole in the chassis that forms the lock female, of the auto switches that have been activated up to that time, some will lose this activity according to the code containing the toothed plate (5, 5 ') or perforated (5 ") of the flat wrench, or the metal discs if the wrench were tubular, so that the printed circuit carrying the detectors will transmit through the multiple cable the instructions to be interpreted by the wrench. microprocessor whose logic will act on the microswitches so that if the code is correct, i.e., if the key is provided, for the opening of the port, it will allow the microprocessor to pass to one or more transistorized power units which may be the relays that act on the slides that manyinham the locked door.
Therefore it is understood that if someone tries to open the door fraudulently without the key that is the code and not the female, however manipulated this part, it will not be possible to unblock the set of tabs or slides given that, it insists the code is in the key and not in the female.
The following describes the structure of the mechanical door locking devices which will preferably be used in combination with the magnetic-electronic lock described up to now and, in principle, reference will be made to the embodiment shown in the figures 8 and 9 which differ only in the locking position, with reference to figure 8 and of unlocking with respect to figure 9.
In any of these figures it is observed that the

assembly will be housed in a housing (4l) on one side from which there will emerge the pawl (26) which structurally can be considered or described as in a part incorporating a radial appendage (27) proximate its rear end, which is drawn in due course through the part (28), which incorporates for this purpose a groove (29) in which fi. housed, as shown in Figures 8 and 9, the appendix (27).
1
The groove 29 is carried out at the end 5a of the part 28 which, on the side opposite said groove, is articulated βφ (3θ) and freely rotatable in the small connecting rod part (31) and also in the other small connecting rod (32). of all free around (3θ) ·
The small connecting rod 31 about the axis of rotation 33 is in turn hinged to another part 35 whose function will be described later.
On the other hand, the small connecting rod 32 hingedly connected by one end at 30 to 28 and 31 freely pivots on the structure of the casing 4 '
The part (4θ) is a means for causing the pawl (26) to function in the locking position, which can be introduced by guiding the bushing (37) in a short stroke until it comes into contact with the pawl brake (35) co. is shown in an approximate position in figure 8
The pawl 26, or rather the part 28 which controls it, is permanently held by a spring 38 which maintains it in the locking position shown in Figure 8.

The locking member 35 incorporates an axis of rotation, that is, it can rotate about an axis referenced at 39.
The axes 39 and 4θ on which respectively the locking piece 35 and the small connecting rod 32 are rotatably attached to the housing 4l.

When the current generated by the electronic components of the above-described lock arrives at the electromagnet 42, through the conductors 43, such a flectríman activates and then its bar 44, (see figure 2), will act on the small connecting rod 32 which will drag down the rod 28, since between the two parts there is free rotation of the shaft 30.
The small connecting rod 31 will also be dragged which, upon oscillation, will cause the catch 35 to rotate as shown in figure 2, a rotation which is produced about the axis 39, thus releasing the pawl 26) that can be lowered guided by the bush (37).
The part or rod 28 will draw the appendix 27 'and consequently the bush 26 to which such appendix belongs, against the strength of the spring 38.
As soon as the electromagnet 42 stops receiving current, it is deactivated and then the expansion of the spring 38 causes the assembly to return to the primitive position shown in figure 1 by drawing the pawl 26 through (27) for the part (28) and recovering all the small-

on the connecting rods and parts for the position shown in the previous figure.
The surfaces referenced 44 in Figure 1 are those which provide for catching the catch from the part 35 when the electromagnet 42 is not electrically activated.
