Abstract

The stimulant is a paste, soln or suspension, opt. contg. H2SO4. Prim. components are thioaliphatic, haloaliphatic, and/or haloboric acids, their salts or amides (pref. up to 90% mercaptoacetic acid, up to 45% monochloroacetic acid, and up to 10% fluoroboric acid). Alternatively Paraquat is used. Prod. opt. contains fluorides and thickening, homogenising, or adhesive agents. Thickening agents are pref. vegetable residues or synthetic polymers (esp. polyvinyl alcohol). Paste of up to 30 poises is applied to open cuts, other prods. to drilled holes.
