Abstract
A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO DIZ RESPEITO A UM PROCESSO INTEGRADO DE OBTENÇÃO DE EXTRATOS ENRIQUECIDOS EM FAMÍLIAS ESPECIFICAS DE COMPOSTOS BIOACTIVOS A PARTIR DE BIOMASSA DE EUCALIPTO QUE INCLUI OS PASSOS DE HIDRODESTILAÇÃO DE BIOMASSA DE EUCALIPTO, COM A PRODUÇÃO DE ÓLEO ESSENCIAL DE EUCALIPTO, E A SUBSEQUENTE EXTRACÇÃO DA BIOMASSA RESULTANTE COM O ÓLEO ESSENCIAL OBTIDO. OCORRE AINDA UMA EXTRACÇÃO DA BIOMASSA RESULTANTE COM ÁGUA E/OU UM ÁLCOOL ALIFÁTICO E / OU COM MISTURAS DE ÁGUA E ÁLCOOIS ALIFÁTICOS. O PROCESSO AQUI DIVULGADO PERMITE, DE UMA FORMA INTEGRADA, A OBTENÇÃO DE UMA VARIADA GAMA DE PRODUTOS DE VALOR ACRESCENTADO A PARTIR DA MESMA BIOMASSA, PERTENCENTES A DIFERENTES FAMÍLIAS QUÍMICAS E APRESENTANDO DIFERENTES GRAUS DE POLARIDADE, E USANDO UMA MENOR VARIEDADE E QUANTIDADE DE SOLVENTES ORGÂNICOS. O PROCESSO OBJECTO DESTA INVENÇÃO É TAMBÉM CARACTERIZADO POR UM DOS PRODUTOS OBTIDOS SER USADO NUM DOS PASSOS DE EXTRACÇÃO SEQUENCIAL PARA OBTENÇÃO DE UMA OUTRA FAMÍLIA DE PRODUTOS DE ELEVADO VALOR ACRESCENTADO.The present invention concerns an integrated process of obtaining enriched extracts in specific families of bioactive compounds from eucalyptus biomass that includes eucalyptus biomass hydrodestilation steps, with the production of eucalyptus essential oil, and subsequent extraction FROM THE RESULTING BIOMASS WITH THE OBTAINED ESSENTIAL OIL. THE RESULTING BIOMASS IS ALSO EXTRACTED WITH WATER AND/OR AN ALIPHATIC ALCOHOL AND/OR WITH MIXTURES OF WATER AND ALIPHATIC ALCOHOL. THE PROCESS DISCLOSED HERE ALLOWS, IN AN INTEGRATED WAY, THE OBTAINING OF A VARIOUS RANGE OF VALUE ADDED PRODUCTS FROM THE SAME BIOMASS, BELONGING TO DIFFERENT CHEMICAL FAMILIES AND PRESENTING DIFFERENT DEGREES OF POLARITY, AND USING A SMALLER VARIETY AND QUANTITY OF ORGANIC SOLVENTS . THE PROCESS OBJECT OF THIS INVENTION IS ALSO CHARACTERIZED IN THAT ONE OF THE PRODUCTS OBTAINED IS USED IN ONE OF THE SEQUENTIAL EXTRACTION STEPS TO OBTAIN ANOTHER FAMILY OF HIGH ADDED VALUE PRODUCTS.
