ESTA INVENÇÃO REFERE-SE A NOVAS RESINAS DE POLIÉSTER INSATURADO BASEADAS EM BLOCOS DE CONSTRUÇÃO PARCIALMENTE OU QUASE TOTALMENTE DERIVADOS DE RECURSOS RENOVÁVEIS OU SUSTENTÁVEIS. AS RESINAS APRESENTADAS NA INVENÇÃO SÃO ADEQUADAS PARA A FABRICAÇÃO DE MATERIAIS COMPÓSITOS DE POLÍMERO REFORÇADO COM FIBRA (PRF) POR MEIO DE DIFERENTES TÉCNICAS DE PROCESSAMENTO, INCLUINDO PROCESSOS DE CURA A FRIO E A QUENTE. AS RESINAS CURADAS DESENVOLVIDAS COM A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO TÊM PROPRIEDADES MECÂNICAS E TERMOFÍSICAS QUE IGUALAM OU EXCEDEM O DESEMPENHO DAS RESINAS DE POLIÉSTER INSATURADO PETROQUÍMICAS CONVENCIONAIS.THIS INVENTION REFERS TO NEW UNSATURATED POLYESTER RESINS BASED ON BUILDING BLOCKS PARTIALLY OR ALMOST WHOLELY DERIVED FROM RENEWABLE OR SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES. THE RESINS PRESENTED IN THE INVENTION ARE SUITABLE FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF FIBER-REINFORCED POLYMER (FRP) COMPOSITE MATERIALS USING DIFFERENT PROCESSING TECHNIQUES, INCLUDING COLD AND HOT CURING PROCESSES. THE CURED RESINS DEVELOPED WITH THE PRESENT INVENTION HAVE MECHANICAL AND THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES THAT EQUAL OR EXCEED THE PERFORMANCE OF CONVENTIONAL PETROCHEMICAL UNSATURATED POLYESTER RESINS.
