Abstract
A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO ENQUADRA-SE NA ÁREA DA IMAGIOLOGIA MÉDICA, ESPECIFICAMENTE NA IMAGIOLOGIA DESTINADA À IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE LESÕES MAMÁRIAS, ASSIM IDENTIFICANDO POTENCIAIS MASSAS DE LESÃO DE CANCRO DA MAMA OU POTENCIAIS CALCIFICAÇÕES DE LESÃO DE CANCRO DA MAMA. É OBJECTO DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO UM MÉTODO COMPUTACIONAL PARA A IDENTIFICAÇÃO MELHORADA DE LESÕES MAMÁRIAS QUE ENVOLVE A OBTENÇÃO DE IMAGENS DIGITAIS DE UMA SECÇÃO MAMÁRIA, COM PELO MENOS DUAS IMAGENS DIGITAIS OBTIDAS POR TECNOLOGIAS DE IMAGIOLOGIA DISTINTAS, SUA SEGMENTAÇÃO E CONSEQUENTE CORRELAÇÃO, PARA IDENTIFICAR UMA OU MAIS LESÕES. TAL POSSIBILITA UMA AUTOMATIZAÇÃO MELHORADA DA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE LESÕES MAMÁRIAS.
