DESCREVE-SE UM NOVO MÉTODO PARA A DETEÇÃO E CLASSIFICAÇÃO DE SINAIS NÃO PERIÓDICOS E RESPETIVO SISTEMA QUE O IMPLEMENTA, NO ÂMBITO DE TÉCNICAS DE CITOMETRIA DE FLUXO PARA AQUISIÇÃO DE INFORMAÇÃO BIOLÓGICA, COM O OBJETIVO DE AUMENTAR A PRECISÃO NA DETEÇÃO DE PARTÍCULAS MARCANTES. TAL É ATINGIDO ATRAVÉS DO RECURSO A CLASSIFICADORES, DO TIPO COMPOSTO OU INDEPENDENTE (20), QUE APLICAM A UM SINAL DE ENTRADA (1) TÉCNICAS DE APRENDIZAGEM AUTOMÁTICA, COMO RNA (REDES NEURONAIS ARTIFICIAIS) (2), PARA EXECUTAR UMA NOVA METODOLOGIA DE DETEÇÃO QUE COMBINA AS ETAPAS DE FILTRAGEM E DE DECISÃO, COMO FORMA DE CLASSIFICAR SINAIS NÃO PERIÓDICOS À SAÍDA DO CLASSIFICADOR (3).
