Abstract

A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO RELACIONA-SE COM UMA ORTÓTESE DE TRONCO QUE PODE SER UTILIZADA PROMOVER SUPORTE E IMOBILIZAÇÃO DA COLUNA DE UM PACIENTE, INCLUINDO DE PACIENTES ACAMADOS. O DISPOSITIVO DA PRESENTE INVENÇÃO COMPREENDE UMA ESTRUTURA RÍGIDA EM PLÁSTICO, PARA DAR SUPORTE AO TRONCO E AINDA UM CIRCUITO PNEUMÁTICO, QUE INTEGRA UM SISTEMA ELECTRÓNICO COM UM CONJUNTO DE SENSORES DE PRESSÃO E UM CONTROLADOR DE PRESSÃO, E ALMOFADAS PNEUMÁTICAS QUE PERMITEM O ENCHIMENTO E ESVAZIAMENTO GRADUAL, ACTIVO E AUTOMÁTICO, DE CADA UMA DAS ALMOFADAS PNEUMÁTICAS DE FORMA INDEPENDENTE, REGULANDO ASSIM A PRESSÃO APLICADA À ORTÓTESE. O PROCESSO DE DESENVOLVIMENTO DA ORTÓTESE DE TRONCO DIVIDE-SE EM TIRAGEM DE MOLDE NEGATIVO, CORREÇÃO DE MOLDE POSITIVO E TERMOMOLDAGEM FINAL DO DISPOSITIVO. DESTA FORMA, A PRESENTE INVENÇÃO INSERE-SE NA ÁREA TÉCNICA DOS DISPOSITIVOS ORTOPÉDICOS, EM PARTICULAR DE APLICAÇÃO AO TRONCO.
