Após a centragem da peça com a máquina, garantindo que os rasgos irão ser maquinados verticalmente opostos, procede-se à sua execução por maquinagem procedendo-se ao deslocamento vertical em duas situações e radial numa situação, mantendo o deslocamento do valor angular exactamente igual na fresagem dos dois rasgos tipo bengala. É também efectuado um furo no topo superior do tubo 1 para alojar uma cavilha (existente no mercado nacional) que suportará uma mola 3.
