Abstract

The present invention refers to a new module for radio transmission by optical fibre, consisting of a cabinet inside which there is incorporated a radio frequency divider and an indeterminate number of BTS or base transmission station modules 10, which are connected to antenna modules 20 via fibre optic cables, there also being a control module arranged inside the cabinet which contains the aforesaid elements, and the invention has N type connectors and SC-APC connectors and utilises a laser with a single cavity of FABRY-PEROT type, making up a microcell system of base stations connected to antennas by optical fibre, in which the structure of a cabinet contains the structures of the BTS or base transmission station modules and antenna.
