Abstract

In firearms there is a protection for triggers known as a trigger guard, which is formed by a ring, the triggers remaining inside it, lateral action only being possible. The present invention is formed by two parts 1 and 2 which are placed one on either side of the trigger guard and interlinked by a lock 3, thus preventing access to the triggers and not allowing the weapon to function. The part 1 has a lock 3 with locking flange 4. When the key 5 is actuated, the locking flange 4 is introduced into the groove of the part 2, the trigger of the weapon being protected. It is thus possible to prevent the use of firearms when this is not necessary, avoiding the risk of accidents which are common in this type of situation.
