Czescjiicprzyswajalna paszy wydalana jest pri9t ryby w postaci kalu, który stanowi wraz , z resztkami nie zjedzonej paszy~glównie zródlo zanieczyszczonej Wody.Cecha charakterystyczna chowu ryb w sadzach jest jego duza koncentracja. Na przyklad przyrost cifzaru pstraga teczowego uzyskiwany z jednego pomostu plywajacego o powierzchni 345 m2 w ciagu 150 dni wynosi okolo 10 ton.
