Description

Przesuwny element wyporowy jest prosty w wykonaniu w szczególnosci z materialu antykorozyjnego, zas komory rozdzielacza moga byc wykonane nawet z materialów nieposiadajacych calkowitej odpornosci chemicznej, a wiec moga byc wyko¬ nane z materialów o wysokiej wytrzymalosci. PL PLThe invention concerns a fluid separator used to separate two different liquid or gaseous media and enabling the transfer of pressure from one medium to the other. Designed especially for probes and downhole geophysical instruments in oil mining. Previously, two-fluid separators were used, in which the separating element was most often a flexible diaphragm or a movable piston. Diaphragms are easily damaged, and their use limits the separator's capacity and fluid temperature. Furthermore, it is impossible to determine the diaphragm's position within the separator chamber. A separator with a piston element is suitable only for completely clean, chemically non-aggressive fluids with good lubricating properties. Otherwise, the piston will become stuck in the cylinder, potentially leading to a serious failure. The essence of the solution according to the invention is that the separating element in the fluid distributor is a sliding displacement element equipped with a position indicator. Using a sliding displacement element in the fluid distributor enables the separation of fluids even at very high pressures and high temperatures. It is primarily used when one of the fluids is, for example, a suspension, a mixture with solids, or is a chemically aggressive medium, as well as in cases requiring large capacities. The sliding displacement element is simple to manufacture, especially from anti-corrosion materials, while the distributor chambers can be made even of materials that are not completely chemically resistant, and therefore can be made of high-strength materials. Another important factor is the reliability and failure-free operation of the distributor. The invention is schematically illustrated in the drawing. The fluid distributor consists of a hydraulic fluid chamber 1 and a contaminated or chemically aggressive fluid chamber 2, separated by a movable displacement element 3, equipped with a position indicator 4 located in a guide 5. Between the guide 5 and the chamber 2 there is a seal 6 and a scraper ring 7. The position indicator 4 has a seal 8 at the exit of the chamber 1. In a special case, the chamber 2 can be a flow chamber, and therefore additionally has an outlet 9. The operation of the fluid distributor is identical to the previously used distributors.
