PL PLThe invention concerns a mechanical, crank-operated screen designed to separate solids, known as screenings, from wastewater. Numerous screen solutions for separating solids from wastewater are known to date. One example is a flat mechanical screen with a steel frame installed above the channel and inclined at an angle of approximately 60° to the horizontal. This frame carries rakes driven by an electric motor, a chain gear, and a lever system. Furthermore, the frame also includes a screenings discharger. The grate is supported on the bottom of the channel and anchored to the side walls. During operation, the rakes move back and forth across the grate. During the upward movement, the screenings are scraped from the grate with the rakes and, at the end of the movement, discharged into a chute. The main disadvantage of these devices is their excessive height above the channel floor. Another known mechanical grate is the arched rake, which has rakes driven by an electric motor via a crankshaft reducer. The crankshaft journals are located in the rake arms, moving them in an oscillating motion. This drive arrangement creates significant forces and torques in the drive system and structure, which complicates the device's operation and limits its application to shallow channels. The aim of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of known design solutions. To achieve this goal, the goal was to develop a mechanical crank grate that would be small and easily adaptable to both shallow and deep channels. This goal, according to the invention, is achieved by using a mechanical crank grate with rakes driven by an electric motor connected to a gear transmission with a crank drive shaft, in which movable rakes are mounted in an articulated manner and can be moved longitudinally on fixed supports. These rakes cooperate with a flat grate and are moved in an oscillating motion using the drive shaft arms with rollers, guide rollers, and rods attached to the end of the rake near the rake. Moreover, the 297590 grate according to the invention is equipped with straight guides guiding the scraper during the working movement and articulated guides guiding the rake during the idle movement. At the front, near the plate protruding above the floor, there is a screenings discharger mounted on a crossbeam connecting the front supports. The advantage of the above-described grate is the possibility of installation in any chamber, small dimensions and low weight. The subject of the invention is shown in an example embodiment in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows a general view, Fig. 2 — a top view, and Fig. 3 — a cross-section in the B-B plane. As shown in the drawing, the grate consists of a flat grate 1 mounted across the drain channel, connected in the upper part to a steel plate 2 protruding above the floor level to a height of 1.0—1.5 m and inclined to the horizontal plane at an angle of 70°. Two guides 8 of the rake 16 run along the grate and the plate, and a little further on there are two articulated guides 7 for the idle movement of the rake 3. At the front, near the plate 2, two front supports 5 are permanently attached to the floor, connected by a crossbeam 13. On the beam 13 there is a ejector 9 for screenings 15 and two pairs of rollers 10 guiding the rod 12". In the rear part of the grate, two supports 4 with adjustable height are permanently attached to the floor with joints 6 guiding the rakes 3, the ends of which are fixed in these joints 6. In the rest position, the rake 3 is above the channel in the highest position. During operation, i.e. after starting the electric motor via the rod 12, the scraper 16 moves upwards, lifting the accumulated screenings 15. In the upper, highest position, the ejector 9 throws the whole thing out of the chute plate 2. During the return movement, the rake 3, with side rollers (not visible in the drawing), reaches the tilting guide 7, which, by bending at the joint 17, moves it away. 0.5 m towards the drive mechanism. During idle movement, the rake 3 moves in the guides of the joint 6 and performs a small rotation on the pin. The length of the arms 11 with rollers can be adjusted, as well as the position of the rollers 10 and the rope hooks on the rake arms 3, which allows for precise adjustment of their operation, both in terms of the immersion depth and pressure on the grate 1. The crank drive mechanism rotates constantly in one direction, while the rake 3 performs a controlled up-down swinging movement. The longitudinal rails 14 connecting the supports 4, 5 provide protection against accidents and at the same time stiffen the entire structure.
