PLThe subject of the invention is a drawer rack, used for multi-level storage of heavy items of irregular shapes, especially in warehouses. In the previously used drawer racks, the drawers are moved by a gantry by means of a rope connected to the drawer and threaded through a rope pulley located in the adjacent rack. Such a solution is dangerous for the operator, as the gantry crane does not have the ability to fully extend the drawer and may cause the cable to break or the shelf to overturn. The purpose of the invention is a drawer shelf that allows for safe drawer pull-out. This aim was achieved by the use of a portable hand winch having a line with a hook. The winch is mounted on a catch permanently attached to the supporting structure of the rack to pull out the drawer. On the other side of the rack there is an identical hook for the winch to slide the drawer in. The drawer has a slot for hooking the hook. Such a drawer rack is completely safe for the operators of the racks, and moreover, the crane is not involved in opening and closing the drawers, which not only reduces the workload but speeds up the opening and closing operations, because the winch is always available and can there may be several of them, depending on the needs.
