Description

Zawie¬ sina przeplywajaca przez warstwe filtracyjna se- dymentuje w zbiorniku, a sklarowana woda zo¬ staje zawracana do wtórnego uzycia w zakladzie przeróbczym.Wymiary i ksztalt osadnika i kanalów filtruja¬ cych oraz rodzaj i sklad materialu filtrujacego wypelniajacego kanaly dobiera sie odpowiednio do zawiesiny. 1 przed¬ stawia przekrój pionowy urzadzenia, a fig. PLThe subject of the invention is a device for clarifying and treating difficult-to-sediment slurries, especially for the dewatering of flotation waste suspensions. Until now, for clarification of suspensions, post-key sedimentation tanks are used in which there is a positive sedimentation of grains, thus the physical and chemical properties of the obtained sediments They are similar to the properties of the solid parts supplying the sedimentation tank. The device according to the invention is provided around the periphery of the sedimentation tank or its parts with channels made of filter material or filled with filter material connecting the sedimentation tank to the secondary sedimentation tank. The grains with the highest falling rate remain in the sedimentation tank, and the grains with the lowest falling rate flow into the channels filled with filter material and are partially retained in its pores. The slurry flowing through the filter layer is sedimented in the tank, and the clarified water is recycled for re-use in the treatment plant. The dimensions and shape of the settling tank and filtering channels as well as the type and composition of the filtering material filling the channels are selected according to the suspension. Subsequent channels can be activated depending on the degree of their silting. The use of the device according to the invention 2, especially in the dewatering of coal waste flotation suspensions, allows obtaining a sludge with a much lower ash content, which qualifies it for use as a fuel. in the pores of the filter material and at the bottom of the secondary sedimentation tank, it makes the water collected in it suitable for reuse. The subject of the invention is shown in the example of the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a vertical section of the device, and Fig. 2 shows its view. In partition 2 of the sedimentation tank 1, on a part of the perimeter, there are channels 3 filled with filtering material 4. The channels 3 connect the sedimentation tank 1 with the secondary sedimentation tank 5. The device operates as follows. The slurry fed to the settling tank 1 co-ordinates, except for the finest grains, which, together with the water, flow into the channels 3 of the filtering material 4. Part of the grains are retained in its pores and the final clarification of the water takes place in the tank 5. PL
